DESIGNER - anne passchier

Anne Passchier is an illustrator and surface designer, originally from The Netherlands, and currently working as a full-time gift wrap designer at American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio. On the side Anne works freelance on children's books and lots of other fun projects! Anne is currently building a personal portfolio of patterns and is represented by The Bright Agency. Here we have a lovely showcase of Anne's work that highlights a whimsical and colourful approach. Anne loves to mix graphic shapes and subtle textures in playful hand drawn designs.













DESIGNER - harriet mellor

Harriet Mellor is a British artist based just outside Frankfurt in Germany. These are some of her fab portfolio pieces and scroll down for her latest greetings card collection for Groupe Editor; ‘Christmas Folk’, available in Continental Europe. The collection was inspired by European Festive traditions, Christmas markets and Wintry forests. The cards have been printed with beautiful gold embossed details. BOOKS - new suzy ultman

Last week saw the publication of two super cute new children's books from Suzy Ultman. Tiny Town and Tiny Farm are published by Chronicle books and is part of Suzy's 'Mini Series'. Being house-shaped books with die-cut elements it is Suzy's hope that the books' playful construction will give youngsters a unique way to experience reading.




To celebrate the launch of Tiny Town Suzy has created a special pin badge and free cut-and-fold project.


FABRICS - stacy peterson for blend

Texas based designer Stacy Peterson has two new fabric ranges out this Autumn with Blend Fabrics. Out this month is Inspirit (above & below) which has a children’s boho look and is filled with cats and dogs and positive affirmations. The quotes have been pulled together into a fun patchwork repeat pattern. The second range Monsters v Robots was released last month and was inspired by a comic book theme. Both collections are available in two color ways. Stacy's playful work is inspired by her childhood, and she loves cheerful colors charming characters. Stacy began illustrating part time after her son was born while working as an art director in New York. Finding success, she began illustrating full-time and is now available for freelance commissions and collaborations.
